At Color Code Paint and Powder Coating in Gardena, CA, we offer powder coating, a dry paint finishing process with similar results as traditional liquid paint.
Powder coating is a dry paint finishing process that yields similar results as traditional liquid paint. It’s known for its functionality and sleek finish.
The coating is applied as a dry powder—similar to the consistency of baking powder— through a process called electrostatic spray deposition (ESD). This is executed through the use of a spray gun. After the powder coating is applied to the desired surface, the product that has been sprayed is entered into a curing oven, in which the heat creates a hard finish that is significantly more durable than conventional paint.
Depending on the surface you are painting, powder coating might be the best choice. It’s especially great for the metal surfaces of products such as automobiles, motorcycles, household appliances, and so many more.
The glossy finish of this particular coating is more likely to withstand the test of time, moisture, UV light, etc. This ultimately means far less chipping, scratching, fading, and corrosion of your products.
We Offer Virtually Limitless Paint Colors
We here at Color Code Paint and Powder Coating care about you and the environment, so we only use products completely free of VOC (volatile organic compounds), chemical pollutants that are produced in the manufacture of a variety of paints.
According to the EPA, these pollutants are usually found indoors in a wide array of home products and can lead to adverse health effects. We make sure to never use paint containing VOC to finish your personal items, whether it’s your car or your furniture.
